At 24hNow, we understand that plans can change, and sometimes service requests need to be canceled. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both customers and service providers, ensuring a transparent and smooth process for everyone involved.
For Customers
Cancellation by Customer Before Bid Acceptance:
- If you cancel a service request before accepting a bid from a service provider, there will be no cancellation fee.
Cancellation by Customer After Bid Acceptance:
- If you cancel a service request after accepting a bid, the following conditions apply:
- Within 24 Hours of Acceptance: You may cancel without any penalty.
- More Than 24 Hours After Acceptance: A cancellation fee of 10% of the accepted bid amount will be charged to cover the service provider’s time and potential loss of other opportunities.
Cancellation During or After Service:
- If you need to cancel a service during or after it has begun, you will be charged for the work already completed based on the service provider’s hourly rate or agreed-upon milestones.
For Service Providers
Cancellation by Service Provider:
- If you need to cancel a bid after it has been accepted by a customer, please inform the customer and 24hNow as soon as possible.
- Frequent cancellations may affect your ratings and visibility on our platform.
Cancellation Due to Customer Non-Compliance:
- If a customer fails to provide necessary access or information required to complete the job, service providers should report this issue to 24hNow. Depending on the situation, the customer may be subject to a cancellation fee.
General Policies
No-Show Policy:
- If a service provider fails to show up for a scheduled job without prior notice, the customer is entitled to a full refund, and the service provider may be subject to penalties, including lower ratings and potential suspension from the platform.
Refunds:
- Refunds for cancellations will be processed within 7-10 business days. The amount refunded will depend on the timing and reason for cancellation as outlined above.
Dispute Resolution:
- If there is a disagreement regarding a cancellation or any associated fees, both parties can contact 24hNow customer support. We will work to mediate and resolve the issue fairly.
